Weekend with Jamie

It's been an awesome time at the beach this year having our family and friends join us. It's so relaxing and nice to spend a slice of heaven and slow the pace of life down. I always look forward to the weekends with Jamie. This weekend it's just the two of us! We enjoyed a delicious dinner on the pier last night at the Fisherman. Every morning Jamie goes for his (I don't know how many miles)jog. He loves that part of the beach early in the morning.

We enjoyed a wonderul relaxing breakfast at the pier this morning(thank to a gift from Amy J) It was so beautiful. Thank you Amy!

Today our friends Al and Theresa have invited us to there home for a BBQ. We look forward to seeing them and spending time catching up.

PS. Everyone has asked the same question! How much is gas there? So Yes, it high, it's $4.20 for regular and the big red truck is always thirsty! But what's a girl to do but fill her up!

Lunch at the Beach Fire Grill

Today Andrea and I had lunch with our dear friend Theresa Nowak. Her and her wonderfull hubby Al live in Capistrano Beach just 15 minutes from where we are staying. We figured out how many years we've known each other and it's been over 30 years. Now that's a true friendship. They're friendship is the kind that we always pick up right where we left off.
They came to AZ. November of 2007 for Chris and Andrea's wedding. When Andrea was a baby she could'nt say Al's name so she called him ALL and he would just melt and loved holding her.
Al and Theresa thank you for being such wonderful friends. We miss you in Az but always look forward to spending time with you when we are in San Clemente.

Happy Birthday Jamie

Guess who's 50 something? Yup it's Jamie's birthday. The kids are all here and we had a great day celebrating together. It's been raining here in San Clemente and it looks like we won't be seeing any SUN till Monday! Hope everyone's summer is going great.

Well today is Saturday and we woke up to a sunny day! Yeah everyone is all excited! Jamie wants to thank everyone for the calls he recieved yesterday. Alicia, (his God-daughter) you were the first to call followed by Jamie Kuest now 3 that sang Happy Birthday with the cha cha cha's in there. Priceless!
Thanks again everyone you made his day even better.

A walk to remember!

Judi and I were walking on the beach when two guys asked us if we wanted to bring them some good luck fishing. Of course I said NO and Judi said sure. 20 minutes later Judi started yelling I caught something. Somethings pulling. The pictures tell the rest of the story. She caught a 4 foot shovel nose shark. Like I said a walk to remember.
