Saying Goodbye:(

We did it all, shopped, went to the beach, ate, ate and ate, had pedicures and nails done and had the best time planning our Joy bible study for next year. It's going to be an incredialbe year.
Thank you Lisa, Robin and Victoria for the beautiful gifts. You came to rest not spoil me! You ladies have a heart of gold. I will always remember the laughter we shared. The best one was that our flab under our arms are our "Angel Wings". Boy I have one set of wings! Thanks for coming to the beach to visit.

Jamie told Chris that if he finishes his plate he would pay for his meal. What a challenge. That was the biggest burrito I've ever seen. El Ranchito is a fantastic Mexican resturant here in San Clemente.

A Gnarly 12 foot wave !

After Chris hanged ten with a GNARLY 12 foot wave and a 12 pound "Autum Burrito" he was left with a battle wound on his cheek. Thank goodness for our first aide kit because we never leave home with out it! He is doing well and can't wait to return next weekend.

David was visiting with the gardener next door and asked for some calla lily bulbs. This is what he got!

Getting ready for baby Ava

Mom crocheted her first baby banket since her last stroke 2 years ago. Lucky baby Ava will be the recipient of this blanket. Come on Andrea and Chris get busy. Just kidding!

Mom always stopped here before she entered the condo to rest and catch her breath. We would say Mom only 17 steps to go inside and she would say oh-no. We would tell her we would make coffee when we got up the stairs and she would be ready to go. Bless her heart 87 and still climbing!

After driving all day to get here in my ''Crossfire" the girls Sara Barnes and Ashley have arrived safely to soak in the sun.

Today was the first day that was sunny all day long. It was a beautiful day. We had margaritas on the deck and watched the sunset.

My Aunt Luz flew in from the Bay area and my brother David drove my Mom up to the beach. The weather has been great.

We took a drive to Roger's Garden in Newport beach. I was in my glory with all the hydrangeas. Every color you can imagine.

WEEK TWO AT THE BEACH

87 and still climbing! Mom is challenged everyday with these steps up to the condo and then 16 more inside to the incrediable view. Bless her heart... she is such a trooper.

Wow where does the time go?

Our baby is 20! Wow where does the time go? It just seems like yesterday that she was in grade school, playing softball, and just being the little girl of the family. Now she is finishing her sophomore year of college and is attending ASU in the fall.
