It's a great day when...

Recently Jamie and I had lunch with our daughters. With every ones busy schedules it was a great day to just sit back relax and laugh together. We missed you Chris. Hope you're enjoying summer!

Is everyone stayin COOL?

Boy it's been pretty hot around here. I decided to post some how to stay cool ideas.

!. Drink lots of cold water
2. Sit right infront of the vent with the AC at 75!
3. Visit your favorite ice cream place twice a day once in the afternoon and return in the evening!
4. Eat very cold watermelon
5. Make lemonade
6. Ice Tea works for me!
7. The best thing we have purchased for our house is a free standing ice maker (it's like having sonic ice 24/7).
8. Take in a movie at your local theater
9. Go for a LONG lunch with friends and just laugh about life and try not to whine about the weather!
10. Think about what you want to be for Halloween because that's our next cool day!

Welcome Kathy!

Kathy Ulrich arrived by the same LOVE JET that brought Lisa Burr to the OC. I know kathys favorite part was walking to the pier and watching the beautiful sunsets. She also fell in love with the cool weather. Thanks Kathy for coming to the beach. I hope you enjoyed yourself.

Look who the LOVE JET flew in!

On Sunday Jamie left back to Mesa after enjoying his last weekend at the beach. Then minutes later the Love Jet (Southwest airlines) flew in Lisa Burr for a few days. But things changed because on Monday she woke up with a terribe cold/sinus infection. Jamie called in a Zpack for her and I gave her the Mexican version (Tequila)! Between the two of them (mine worked faster and was more effective) Therefore, allowing her to stay thru the end of the week and helping me pack up the big red truck. WE had a blast and helped the economy even in one day. Thank you Lisa for the memories!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANDREA

Yesterday was Andrea's 24th birthday. Happy Birthday!!!It was a crazy day knowing that they were out celebrating as a family and I was at the beach. Diana and I celebrated in your honor Andrea at a fabulous resturant here in San Clemente. I'm glad we celebrated last weekend when you were here and we will go out and celebrate again when I get home!
I hope you had a wondereful day because you are a wonderful daughter and deserve the best! We love you girly girl!

She finally made it here!

Diana finally made it to San Clemente. Lisa Palich and Diana drove in yesterday late in the afternoon after leaving Mesa around 8:00 AM. What recession??? They stopped at the outlets on the way to helped out the economy. San Clemente will never be the same. Today we stayed in our PJ's till noon with NO agenda. Later we sat outdoors at the local coffee shop (The Aloha Hut)down town and met three of the locals(geisers). We know all about the town.

We enjoyed Lunch at the piers fisherman and decided to stay in tonight and order from La Rocco's Pizzeria! The best pizza in town. We are know watching PS I love you for the third time! We need to get a life huh! LOL
